"Group by" widget missing from next-gen board for some users

In my view of the kanban board, I see a "group by" widget that let's me group stories by assignee or epic:

Other users seem to lack this widget. How do I make it appear for them? As far as I can tell, we have equal permissions levels, but perhaps I've overlooked something.

To answer my own question, you give users access to this widget by making them a member of the `jira-administrators` group, which can be found under Settings > User Management > Groups.

Check out Angelica's answer to a similar question, seems as though only an admin to a next gen project can see the group by function.
