tickets disappear when transitioning

Aveetha Singh April 11, 2024

Hi

I have mapped 2 new statuses[UAT Internal and UAT external). However, after transitioning tickets to these columns, it disappears from the board. I searched through the backlog, and there are no tickets with these 2 statuses.

When I click on issues and filter on these 2 statuses, I see all the tickets.

Any idea what the issue could be?

The statuses you're looking at are likely not mapped to the columns you're expecting them to be.  Check the board configuration

It's very unlikely, but it's possible that the filter that populates the board is specifically excluding these statuses.

One quick sanity check is to run the query that populates the board to see if those issues are returned by the query. That will let you know if the problem is with the query or the board configuration.

Yes that is totally possible too.

(or Kanban sub-filter)

Thank you. It was the board filter- the JQL did not have those statuses.
