Reduce the counter value when linked issue is removed

Hi,

I have written the automation that if the issue is linked to any issue with particular link name (Blocks) the counter field should increase(shows no of issues linked) , but i also want to write that if the linked issue is removed then the counter should get decreased any idea how this can be achieved?

For a question like this, please post an image of your complete automation rule, images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches, and an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution.  Those will provide context for the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!

Until we see those...

Rather than increment and decrement the value, I recommend recounting the issues, using lookup issues with JQL, to ensure the value is correct each time a link change occurs.
