Resolution Flag & ISSUE LINK TO Confluence

Hi All,

I have 2 questions below in 7.3.1 JIRA SOFTWARE VERSION

1) How do we set the status ( Eg : Inprogress ) Resolution Flag to 1 pls ?

2) How do we link the Jira Ticket/issue to Confluence URL ?

Kindly can someone let me know ASAP pls.

1. Status and resolution are two totally different things.  Which one are you talking about?
2. Usually, click "link issue" and give the page location when answering "what do you want to link to?"

Thanks for the reply.

1) I want to set the RESOLUTION Flag to 1 on the transition when issue is moving from TO DO status to INPROGRESS.

2) I got the 2nd point we can just link specific JIRA issue to specific CONFLUENCE page. But do we have an option to link entire Jira project ( I mean 1 specific project ) to Confluence space pls ?

1. Actually, you almost certainly do not.  If you set the resolution, then you're telling Jira and your people, that the issue is done, and needs no more attention.  That's not consistent with a status of "in progress".  Resolution should only be set when you move into an "end" status in the workflow.
2. Yes, you can link to a Jira project or a Confluence space by using the same url as you use for an issue or page, just don't specify the item inside the project or space (for example, if you would like to https://myjira.org/browse/ABC-123 for an issue, then for its project, just link to https://myjira.org/browse/ABC )
