Restrict access to Custom field

Hi Team

I have a Custom field in my project and I want to restrict only to specific people to modify that field, how to control this by using script runner behavior. Please Let me know the possibility and provide the script if its valid.

Hi @G Ashok 

There is no need to use a script for this action.

You can create a new group where you are going to add the people that are allow to change the field value.

Create a new behaviour and map it to your project and issue type (if any).

Over the "Fields" section, select your custom field and check the option "Read only"

Add a new condition (for this action to happen) and select these options:

Make sure you select the group you created earlier. this way the people that belongs to the group you created are going to b able to edit the field value.
