Send email on different transitions

Hi team,

Can you let me know how to send customized e-mails (custom body, title, recipient) on various transitions along with attachment there on the ticket at that time.

If you do not want to purchase a marketplace add-on, you could use automation rules and include links to the attachments.  The key with this approach is that the recipients would need JIRA accounts in order to open the links to the attachments.

Thanks for the response. We have scriptrunner for jira. I just want to know the name of the postfunction provided by scriptrunner to trigger custom emails. Righ now, there are 2 or 3 email related postfunctions. I want the one that's not too demanding on system and very much customizable.

We make use of the ScriptRunner add-on to send custom email notifications at certain transitions. ScriptRunner is an incredibly powerful add-on that I think everyone should have. When adding a post function, choose Script Post-Function [ScriptRunner]. Then on the next screen choose Send a Custom Email.
