Slack Notifications for New Work Items to Assignee

I have the Jira Cloud app installed in Slack and have been using it since January 2025. When the app was first set up, when a new work item was created, I would receive a DM from Jira Cloud with the message that "[Reporter] created a [issue type] that you are assigned to" with a preview of the work item.
The last time I received such a notification was June 13th. I cannot determine if a setting was changed, my notification settings in the Jira Cloud app in Slack are the same. When new work items are created that I am assigned to, I no longer receive the Slack DM, but I am still receiving DMs about status transitions and comments.
