Hi All,
Just a quick question please.
All Subtasks issues should be closed before the parent issue closed. What condition is suitable in this case please?
Please advise ASAP!
Hi Roja,
You should be able to use "Sub-Task Blocking Condition" on the parent's issue workflow.
Hope that helps.
HI Yanty Ghani
Thanks for the response.
At the moment the workflow we're using for parent issuetype and subtask type is same ( Means only one workflow we are using ). Do we need to split the workflow for parent issuetype and Subtask issue type ?
Kindly Advise on the same as soon as you can pls!

You can use the same workflow to apply the condition. It will apply it only to the parent's issue, which means you'll be able to transition the sub-tasks to "Done". Once all the sub-tasks are in "Done" status, only then you'll see the transition to "Done" in the parent's ticket.

Hi Yanty Ghani,
I have added a condition on the last transition of the workflow (Closed Status transition ) however it's not working as expected. I have created one parent issue under it created 2 sample subtask issues and i tried to close the subtasks issues to Closed and that checked the Parent issue status it's still remains the same. Attached screenshot for your reference.

That condition only allows the "Done" transition to show for the parent status, but it wouldn't transition the parent's status automatically. In order to do that, you need to use automation.
