Hello together,
We are using Jira Cloud (Software) since around 2011.
Today, while trying to clean up our Jira Cloud users & groups, I found the following groups that were likely auto-generated by Atlassian.
But since we are using the service for so many years, I suspect some of these aren't necessary, anymore.
Are these documented properly, anywhere?
Also, it would be sensible if these could be marked by Atlassian as "system-internal" or something like that to make it clear. [Feature Proposal]
Thanks.

Hey @OSe Development ,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
I believe the article Understand default groups should help you remove the obsolete groups. As I dont have the old groups now available on my test instance, please check if you have an option to manually delete from Atlassian Administration.

Hi Chitra,
While this article hasn't really helped me to understand what groups can be cleaned up, it at least documents what the groups are for.
Thank you.
Marc

I agree, the one which are not listed in the article above should ideally be obsolete. Happy to help!
