Hello,
I have a 'Team-managed software' project. Is there any way for child issues to appear in the Backlog view?
We have a task with 10 child issues and different developers are working on each of those child issues. We use Board view for our scrums, but since child issues cannot be shown there I wanted to see if they can be shown in the Backlog view. It would be helpful to be able to see the child issues so that each developer sees their workload and priorities when they filter by their own name.
Thank you,
Kati
Hi, @Kati Driscoll 👋
Are you referring to linked issues or subtasks? I'm guessing that when you say "child issues" you are referring to subtasks.
Subtasks are not depicted in the backlog because they cannot be ranked or moved to a sprint independent of the parent.
Have you tried creating the view you desire in the List view? I have not, but I suspect one can create such a view this way.
Hope this helps,

Yeah. Those are sub-tasks in your screenshot. You're not going to see those in a backlog. Sorry.
Do try the list view.

@Dave Rosenlund _Trundl_ Thank you for the response. I am referring to the following child issues that were created under the parent ticket.
