Though I am setting transition rule, it's not working as expected, i.e. I have created a rule for transition "in PR" to "In QA". Where I used 1. rule: Restrict to when a field is a specific value 2. For this field=Assignee 3. Review it's value as Text 4. Check if it=Equal 5. This value= "Mafatlal" With above schenario, I checked issue to move from status "IN PR" to "IN QA", not changing assignee, it's not ristricting nor giving any message. Could you please help me with this. I am sharing some screenshots for your reference

Ah sorry, the screenshots didnt load earlier and i assumed this was 'Automation' rule.
I see now that you are using the new workflow editor and set a 'Condition' on the transition.
I do not have the 'Restrict to when a field is in specific value' restriction in my site but i added the below after switching to the old editor view and works well for me as defined.
