Hello,
I'm working with a Team-managed project. We've tried to change the category of our "ready for UAT" status from "in progress" to "done", but it was not working. There was no error message or nothing of the sort, it just didn't save.
So we removed the status "ready for UAT" from our workflow and created a new one, "ready for UAT II" under the category of "done".
But now, when we try to rename our "ready for UAT II" into "ready for UAT", it says the status already exists.
This is the only workflow this project is using.
Could it be there is another workflow, in another project, using "ready for UAT"? Can this happen in "team managed" project?
If so, how do I fix it?
@Ana Franciosi you can see the statuses in the given way
settings--->issues--->attributes--->status--->edit/delete
If this status are using in another project workflow and the status are already existing then no need to create again you can use by clicking on Add status there you can find Ready for UAT so you can use that.
if you want to rename the status you can rename if the status are using only in your project workflow by converting into text there you can rename the status name
Hope this helps

I'm trying, but what you are describing doesn't work (or I am not doing it right).
Here is our workflow:
This workflow is shared for all issue types under our project. As you can see, there is no "Ready for UAT" status.
But if I click on "add status" for "in progress" it still shows up:
Where is this status coming from? How can I erase it?

Hi @Ana Franciosi , you are not doing it wrong.
I think that the common solution given for this issue (settings > issues > attributes > status > edit/delete) refers to a company managed project, not to a team managed one. I have the same issue and I always find the same solution, but it doesn't work because status in "settings > issues > attributes > status" are not applied to team managed projects. Status management for this type of project is broken. Let me know if in this month, since your first message, you found a solution.

Hi Matteo! No, it didn't work, I ended up coming up with a new status name...
Thanks!
