Turning off notifications when the reporter makes changes

Shari Fitz-Patrick

I have created a permissions schema for two projects for a product owner.  However she does not want notifications on work she has done on a ticket.  Any ideas how I would turn this off?

Thanks

Hello @Shari Fitz-Patrick

To make sure we understand you correctly, what you want is that

  • all users not to receive notifications when they do the work themselves

or

  • No notification when the reporter updates the ticket?

In the first case, each user can enable/disable the possibility of receiving notifications in their own settings : yourdomain.atlassian.net/secure/ViewPersonalSettings.jspa

In the second case you can apss by automation for your notifications.

If you need more details or if my answer is not convenient let me know :)

Hi @Shari Fitz-Patrick If the user do not want to get the notifications for the changes made by them then they can disable the Notifications of your changes from their profile as mentioned in the below document.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/

This does not send any notifications if reporter make any changes.

Thanks

Sagar
