Unable to add a transition to the last status

Pooja Heda September 2, 2019

While adding a transition to the last status "Closed" which does not have any outgoing transitions, it gives me an error saying

"You are editing a draft workflow. The step 'Closed' has no outgoing transitions in the Active workflow, so you cannot add any outgoing transitions in the Draft workflow."

I tried adding another status called "Done" after "Closed" to fix but not helping.

I need to fix the resolution of closed issues which still show Unresolved. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

Hello,

That is correct. It is a limitation of editing a workflow, which is linked to a project. You should copy this workflow, edit the copied workflow and associate the copied workflow to the required workflow scheme.

Thanks much. Maybe I missed this tiny thing coz I was trying to do a lot at a time. Stuff happens. :)
