Unable to clone an issue

Hi all,

I'm trying to clone an issue but keep getting the following error:

We couldn;t clone XXX
Check your connection and then try again

Can anyone explain to me what causes this error, and how I can solve it. I'm sure my connection isn't the problem because it's in the cloud and I'm able to do everything else but not able to clone.

Hi @Jordy van Eijk and welcome to the community!

The only thing I can think of is that don't have Create Issues permission on the project permissions scheme.

Thank you so much.. This gave me some insight, i tried creating a new issue and also got an excaption saying i'm missing a required custom field. So now i know why i couldn't clone. But it's maybe better to give the same exception why cloning isn't working like when i'm creating an issue.
