Using new issue view with Classic Projects, how to set Status Order that appears in drop down?

Using new issue view on Classic Cloud Jira project and tried the instructions for adding "opsbar-sequence" property to transitions in workflow.

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Changing-Order-of-the-Workflow-Transition-Buttons/qaq-p/239379

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Questions/Reorder-global-transition-to-last/qaq-p/69779

Verified that the property is adding only to transitions (not steps) and that they exist on all issue.

However the Status pull down list is alphabetizing within the Status Category and not displaying order desired.

this isn't supported in the new issue view as yet. I suggest clicking the feedback link and provide feedback to Atlassian.

Unbelievable.   Having a workflow designer that cannot set and display the work flow correctly.  Is there already a bug?

You might check on Jira.atlassian.com to see if there is an issue open for this and if so vote/watch or if not then reach out to support to request it.

Hi @Pat Ryan

I wanted to chime in here and let you know that the opsbar-sequence property is now honored in the new issue view. Previously it was only available in the old issue view. You can find more information on the public ticket.

Kind regards,

Matt
