Hello,
I receive an email notifications each time I am added as a participant to a ticket. But I don't see a notification on Jira itself. I only see a list for tickets I am actually assigned to. The only work around I found is to > go to my email, find the ticket number, and search for it in the Jira Projects Board. There must be a simple way to search for all the tickets I am a participant of, am I just missing it?
Thank you,
Sean W.
Hello @Sean Wilson
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You can create a filter to find all the issues where you are in the Watchers field or the Request Participants field.
You can find more information on creating filters to search for issue in this documentation:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/search-for-issues-in-jira/
What I did above is leveraging Advanced Searching features.
You can also find free on-demand training on the same topic in the Atlassian University site:
Trudy!
This is really helpful.
The only downside is that now I have to coach all my coworkers on how to do the same function.
My coworkers and I still think there is room for improvement here. Since we all use the Kanban Board style, we would like to see "participant" and "watching" as a Quick Filter.
Thank you,
Sean
