I have found our problem (Atlassian Problem which needs a fix).

We are using unified sprints architecture, which means, a single shared (unused) board that owns some unified sprints, and other project-related boards, that watches these unified sprints (and see only their project issues).

Now, when i use the Sprint Health Gadgets, the chart is related to a project board, and therfore displys the right numbers.

But, when i click on the bar in order to see the jira results, the JQL query opens is omitting the board filter query, and only filters by sprint and statuses.

to illustrate:

on Chart: board = "abc" [project = sdfdf and sprint = asdssd and status != removed ...] AND sprint = 555

on Jql(after you click on chart): sprint = 555 and status in (......)

Since our sprints are unified, we get much greater numbers.

We are hitting the same issue. Is there an open bug with Atlassian for this?

Please see this documentation. It should be SP as you surmised. I suspect the answer might be complicated a bit by the high percentage of scope change. - gadgets-for-jira-applications .
