What will happen if I don't add our site under our organization?

I'm a site admin for one site. What happens if I don't complete the item below? I work for a large company, and I doubt our IT department would allow me to follow the steps to verify a domain.

Hi Leigh,

Essentially nothing happens in the Atlassian Cloud products if you do not complete the creation of an organization.  Those Atlassian Cloud products still work exactly the same.

The reason you might want to create an organization is because it is a prerequisite for the steps in Verify a domain for your organization.  From that document:

Verifying a domain gives you these two benefits:

• Get more control over the Atlassian accounts that access your Atlassian cloud products (those accounts are called managed accounts once you verify their domain).
• Apply Atlassian Access security policies to your managed Atlassian accounts (Atlassian Access is a subscription service).  

If you don't want to use Access, and don't want the added control over those Atlassian Accounts, then there is no need to create an organization for your Cloud site.
