I know what a burndown is. I know how to enter my estimate, but how do I create the data for the burndown chart. Do I just change the estimate either up or down reflecting remaining work?
@Scott Barnard, you simply log your time. You should really never change your original estimate but certainly can change the remaining estimate as you begin logging time. Remaining estimate by default = Original - logged time.
OK, I guess I am missing something.
1) where do people record their time (but we are using Points) against an Issue?
2) What happens when more points are consumed than estimated?
3) Does the practitioner need to put in a start and end date on an Issue?

Here is a good read that does a good job of explaining the process and methods. Let me know if it doesn't answer your questions. Certainly we can zero in on it.
