Hi Marcel,

The migration assistant app does not store this information into a flat log file like Jira itself would.  Instead this information is stored within the plugin, and in turn when you hover over the download link within the web interface, you can see that this URL is calling a REST API endpoint within the plugin to generate these log files at the time of request.

Unfortunately, this means there is no clear directory you can use to access this data directly.  I am interested to try to learn more here though as to why the download link within the web interface might not be available to you to download.  Although it might be better to create a migration support ticket in order to gather this information.  We would want to know more here such as

  • what version of Jira Server/DC,
  • version of migration assistant app/plugin
  • approximate date/time of migration attempt
  • It might also be helpful to generate a support zip from this environment

Since this would likely contain sensitive data, a support ticket would be the preferred way to approach this if possible.  Please let me know if you have any trouble creating a support case for this, and perhaps I can help further here.

Andy
