I currently have an automation rule that auto assigns a service management ticket. I wish to change the auto assignee now. However the legacy automation link has disappeared for me.
I see here (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-is-legacy-automation/) that the legacy automation link was no longer available based off the following:
"Sometime in early 2023, Legacy automation will no longer be available on sites that have no custom automation rules created or triggered in the past 180 days. It will continue to be available on existing sites that regularly use Legacy custom automation rules. We’ll keep you posted about updates on this page."
However I do have custom rules that are still actively triggering.
How can I access legacy automation configuration in order to update the auto assignee?
Thanks
Are you sure that it was using the Legacy automation features? If you were actively using the rule than it should not be gone. If you were using it and it has been removed, you could raise a support ticket with Atlassian to see if they can help you recover it!
Thanks,
Kian
Thanks Kian. Yes I'm pretty sure. Late last year Legacy automation was available in the navigation and I was able to make updates to it and the changes reflected in the automation rules that executed.
Here's an example of the automation rules triggering recently as well:
Let me raise a support ticket with Atlassian.
Thanks
Mike

Hey Mike,
same here on Jira Server.
The link is gone for us too but it still works:
https://jira.domain.com/servicedesk/admin/PROJECT-KEY/automation
You can re-enable the link by enabling the new Automation for Jira App (even if it's unlicensed on pure server / not datacenter).
Best regards, Flo.
