Why can't I switch to Simplified Workflow

I have checked all the demands for using simplified workflow and still cannot get this option. What am I missing?

I have experimented with different workflows and wish to start over with a simple approach. Want to avvoid deleting the DB for this.

I had to be logged in as administrator first, then after following instructions from this thread i managed to simplify the workflow:
