Why cant i add users in jira as JIRA Admin?

It is showing like this while i am adding users to jira. Please help me regarding this issues.

The error message you're seeing indicates that the current Jira plan has reached its maximum number of allowed users. To add more users, you'll need to upgrade your Jira plan.

Thanks @Shreeja J  my concern is can we add extra users in jira after billing is completed. Now in our organization the active users are 79 and billing is done for that 79 users , can we add new users now. Just to know how many users can we add in Standard plan.

In the Jira Standard plan, the maximum number of users allowed is based on the tier you've selected during your subscription. Since your current billing is completed for 79 users, you would need to upgrade your plan to the next tier to add more users.

Yes, if you remove some users from the active users list, you will be able to add new users without needing to upgrade your plan. The total number of active users must remain within the limit of your current plan, which in your case is 79 users.

Here's how it works:

  1. Remove Users: You can deactivate or remove users who are no longer needed.
  2. Add New Users: Once users are removed and the total active user count is below your plan limit, you can add new users.

Please make sure to review the users you deactivate to avoid disrupting any ongoing work or access rights.
