Hello,
I am working on a company-managed project. I edited the Field Configuration Scheme for what I thought was just my project, but was then notified users on other projects were affected. In the screenshot below it shows I updated the Field Configuration Scheme, then lists my project "Business System Feature Requests" as the Changed Object. However in the details it shows "no associated items".
I think the issue is that I did not create and associate a project specific Field Configuration Scheme? Is that it? Or something else? I want to make sure I do not may company wide changes again. Thank you!
Hello @Hannah Hughes
Welcome to the Atlassian community
A Field Configuration Scheme can be used by multiple Company Managed projects. Before making a change to any configuration element, Scheme or a component in a scheme, you need to determine if it is used by more than one project. For Schemes the projects that use them are shown either on the page listing the schemes or it will be shown as a clickable lozenge when you look at the individual page for the scheme
The elements that are used within a scheme can also be used by multiple schemes. So before changing one of those elements you need to look at the schemes in which it is used and then look at the projects that use those schemes.
Hi @Hannah Hughes ,

You can find all the project associated to the scheme in settings -> Issues --> Field Configuration scheme
