Why do some epics not show a timeline?

Some of my epics do not display a line for the timeline. For example, in the image Admin module has stories started and to do but no timeline shows. Shipment notices max qty has only to do in it and still shows a timeline, you can see the arrow to go it when hovered over. Carriers, also in progress, to do, in testing etc doesn't display a timeline for the epic, why? What do I need to do to show this?

Hi @Michele Daigle ,

The timeline will show for Epics that have a date input for them. In order to see the timeline, you'll need to enter a start and end date for the Epic.

but none of my epic utilize start date and most of them show. It isn't a field that we have included.

Make sure you set the Start Date and Due Date fields on that epic.

But NONE of my other epics that show on the timeline have start OR due dates?!
