Why doesn't the 'Access' link show up in my project sidebar?

rcraig May 21, 2024

I'm in a team-managed project in a paid instance of Jira, but the 'Access' link described in the documentation does not show up.

Hello Rcraig.

Welcome to our community :)

The *access* menu will be under the Project Settings.

From your screenshot, it appears you don't have access to the project settings, which means you are not an Admin. You can ask the project admin to grant you the "Administrator" role under the Access settings.

Alternatively, you can request any user who is a Jira Administrator to add you to the administrator role for that project.

Please let me know if this answers your question.
