automation rule for Validate epic link

I need to build a valitation that when I make an epiclink action it compare if the issue has the same projectId than the epic parent

Hi @Edimara -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What problem are you trying to solve by doing this?  For example, detect that someone has linked an epic to an issue which is in a different project.

You can perform this check by checking the project field of both issues: the trigger issue and the issue found by branching to epic.

I need to know when I have interdependence between projects (issue with epic link that don't belong to the same epic project

That is not possible out of the box. Do you have any plugins installed such as ScriptRunner?
