hi all,

we are on JIRA software 7.3 server. we have Bamboo, Bitbucket integrated to JIRA and we use JIRA as a user repository. Bamboo,Bitbucket is set with read/write access to JIRA.

i see when new groups are manually created, they are captured in audit logs with the user name and the change details.

New groups were created(not in JIRA) and i see some say "JIRA" as the user. I'm assuming these are the changes that were made in one of the integrated tools and synced to JIRA. we looked at Bamboo audit logs and nothing related to the group creation is captured. now, we are not sure who created the group. our tools are not public.

To avoid this situation in future, can we make any changes so that audit log so that it will capture the changes and instead of saying JIRA, it can give the details of user/tools in which the change originated ?

thank you !
