creating a query to create a new label for swimlane

Violaine Truck February 14, 2023

I would like to add a label to my board so that I can create swimlanes in my board.

Suivi des Features GAC - Tableau Agile - JIRA for Orange

I go into Configuring a board and select Swimlanes then when I write Labels = I don't know what to write behind the =

I have this message : "Erreur dans la requête JQL : une valeur, une liste ou une fonction doivent être mentionnées avant la fin de la requête."

Let me take a stab at this.

First, labels need to be added to the issues themselves. Open up an issue and press L, which will highlight the Labels field. Add a Label that you would like, then do this with each issue. Let's pretend you labeled your issues A, B, and C.

Next, open your board configuration, select Swimlanes, and select Queries. From here, name your first Swimlane "A" and for JQL enter "labels = A". Click Add, then repeat for B, "labels = B" and again for C. Now you've created Swimlanes for issues with a Label of A, B, or C.

Is that what you were hoping for? Note that if an issue has multiple labels, it will be added to the first swimlane it matches.

Thanks. That works.
