export the comments

Hi Friends,

I have few doubts on export and CSV file, Can you please help me on this.

1.Is there any possibility to export the comments along with the issue details  from JIRA.

2.If i create the task through the CSV file then all the comments are updated like updated by one who performed it. So It is possible to update the corresponding person along with their comments.

Hi Karthik,

For #1, it is not possible to export comments on the JIRA Cloud platform.  I believe this will also prevent #2 from happening as well.  The only workaround would be to export your Cloud data, import it in to the self hosted version of JIRA, and then use a third party plugin to get the comments - see https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/277113.
