how to give a user or multiple user read/browser only access of my active jira project

Hi Team,

I searched for a solution on your official page but did not find a solution that fulfilled my query so can you please help with this?

use case: how we can give access to a or more users to a particular or selected active project: read-only or browser-only access.

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.

Is it a Software project, Service project, or Business/Work Management project? If it is one of the first two, that will be shown below the project name at the top of the navigation pane on the left.

Do you have both Team Managed and Company Managed projects active in your Jira system? 

Permissions are handled differently between Team and Company Managed projects, so we need the answer to those questions to provide you with good advice.
