how to set a field with the sum of the values of two custom fields (Jira OnDemand)

Operations Supervisor Jira 2 January 15, 2014

Hi,

I need to set a fiedl with the sum of the values of two custom fields. I have tried with the post-functions but I cannot find the way to do it. There is a post function called "Update Issue Custom Field" that seems to do what I need but I don't know if it can execute functions, and if so, what is the syntax.

Thanks

Same here. 9 out of 10 plugins do not work on the onDemand version and it sucks. Summing two or more fields is so basic that its lack of availability is shocking.

Hi, but this is a very useful and needed function. I can't understand this is not possible for OnDemand version.

Hi Marian,

I'm afraid that summing two custom fields is not possible on OnDemand. I haven't found a post function, gadget or plugin for OnDemand that performs that task.
