integration jenkins aws with jira Cloud

Alejandro Yudis Amaya Bonilla July 19, 2022

I have jenkins installed on an ec2 aws instance which has a private ip, so jira can't reach Jenkis, but from jenkis it can reach jira.

What should I do so that Jira can recognize Jenkis, therefore, the jenkins tigger does not work for me

Hope you configured OAuth configuration as well. If not please follow below 3 steps and then try again accessing the jira instance.

Step 1: Create OAuth Credentials in Jira for Jenkins
Step 2: Install the Jira Cloud Plugin
Step 3: Add the OAuth Credentials in Jenkin

For working jira with jenkins:

Steps to Work with Jenkins Jira Integration:

Step 1: Build Jenkins Jira Snippets
Step 2: Load Build Data to Jenkins Jira Pipeline
Step 3: Load Deployment Data to Jenkins Jira Pipeline
Step 4: Add Environment and Service Details for Jira
Step 5: Fetch Keys using Custom Logic
Step 6: View Development Data in Jira

Hope this will help you.
