Hello,
I'm using Jira Server for the Slack app. It is configured and working well. But I would like to be able to change the layout card that appears in Slack. Is this possible?
For example, I want to see the severity instead of the Priority of the ticket in Slack preview.
Hi @Aisen
The app does not support message customization for general notifications and unfurls. However, it does support custom templates for Post Functions as you can see in the documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/slack/using-jira-applications-with-slack-966662163.html#UsingJiraapplicationswithSlack-HowdoIsetupSlackpostfunctionnotifications?.
Additionally, Atlassian open-sourced the app so anyone are welcome to fork their own versions and contribute: https://github.com/atlassian-labs/atlassian-slack-integration-server/
Hope that helps! Cheers!

Hi there,
There's something wrong with the editor here that's messing up with the link. I've edited my answer. If you copy the link and paste into your browser, it should work.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the post function is not covering my need. I would like to get a message in Slack and have the Severity of the issue visible in the preview. The creation of a ticket is not part of the workflow and ditto severity change.
