jira user directory limited user sync possible?

Hi

Is it possible to synch only a group or selected number of users from a jira user directory?

I have one Jira instance with 50 licenses and another one with 2000. I would like to only sync 50 users using Jira user directory, otherwise I wont be able to keep the license tier.

Yes, you can limit users for sync through User Object Filter. For instance, using the filter as below

• (&(objectCategory=Person)(sAMAccountName=*)(memberOf=cn=CaptainPlanet,ou=users,dc=company,dc=com))

That option is only possible if you create an LDAP user directory, not an Jira user Directory

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood you. In that case, I think this is not possible. Let's wait maybe some other guys had the same issue.
