{{now.plusBusinessDays(2)}} when used in due date for automate rule created incorrect date

{{now.plusBusinessDays(2)}} when used in due date for a story created automatically via automate rule (to create a story every 2 days starting oct 10) generated oct 15 as due date when the rule ran successfully on oct 12. Ideally it should have created Oct 14 as due date.

What went wrong here?

Surprisingly when the rule ran subsequently on Oct 14, due date created was 16 which is correct and expected.

The calculation was correct, since Oct 12 was not a business day, it started counting on Monday, so two business days from Oct 12 would be Oct 15. For rules like that and the issue is created on a non business day it will start counting from Monday on.

If I understood it correctly, due date would have been Oct 15 even if the issue got created on OCT 11 because 12,13 were non business days?

Business days are considered to be Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, so it all depends on when on the Oct 11 the request is created, if was before 9am the due date would be Oct 14, otherwise Oct 15.
