Hi,
Anyone else have trouble with the promised free app "Jira integration plus" that should be free, included in the jira cloud version ?
Once installed, after a month it popups a trail end and we should pay for this app. On the other hand, i checked the app in the jira application again, which explains very clearly that this plugin is included.
Do we have to contact atlassian to arrange the license? Because nextup don't want to deliver a free version.
thx and regards,
Kurt
@Kurt Callebaut i am having trouble even locating that addon in the Market place. can you share a link to the addon?
Hi,
Well nextup told me first it was a payed app.
Now i got an e-mail from them containing this answer.
Atlassian does have a free plugin if you just want basic functionality - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216863/jira-cloud-for-slack-official?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Greetz. :)

thanks.
So it appears to me that the Nextup addon is missing the "Pricing" tab. The free (official) addon has a "Get it now" button whereas Nextup's says "Try it free" which indicates it isn't a free app. Further, if you search "Slack integration" and check the "free" filter Nextup's addon is not shown then if you uncheck "free" it is shown. I'm familiar w/ the official Slack integration addon but not the other. I guess if I were in your position I would do the following:
1) install the official app and remove the other if the features meets your needs
2) reach out to Atlassian Support and report that there is no "Pricing" tab for the Nextup addon and therefore is misleading. Now maybe my expectation that there is always a Pricing tab for any paid addon is misplaced.

...missing the "Pricing" tab... "Try it free" which indicates it isn't a free app.
Yikes... These plugin developers need to be absolutely clear and upfront about pricing on the pricing tab - we don't need deceptive practices here... I would put that under "Don't #### the customer"

i expect this is either a bug or an honest mistake or explanation. I have reached out to Atlassian rep and they have opened an internal ticket so hopefully it will be resolved/explained soon.
