"Component/s" field is required and the project " " does not have any components.

My project uses a Copy of Default Field Configuration which i have removed from all screens and hidden. Every time I try to Submit a new issue, I get the attached error.

Hello,

You need to add components in your project. To do so you need the Project Administrator permission in the project configuration scheme.

You need to either create some components or change the field configuration.

Can you also show in your project admin summary which field configuration you're using? In that screenshot there's no indication that Component/s is required.

You may also need to take a look at validators in your create transition in the workflow...

Thanks both, I have figured it out now. I needed to add a component and then set it to optional.
