want to upgrade from 6.4 to 7.3(latest version). plese assist

hi all,

My company is looking to upgrade from 6.4 to latest version of JIRA(7.3). my understanding is that we need to first upgrade to 7.0 then to 7.3.can someone suggest where I should be looking to get information to go about making this.

Admin docs are for administering a system

what is JIRA developers documentation? how is it different from JIRA admin ? what is it used for ?
