watcher issue

Hello All,

I am JIRA software for project management and facing the issues in the below scenarios 

1) I am able to add watcher in one particular project but not in other 

2) I am not able to add the default watchers to the project tasks 

I have tried the below troubleshooting 

1) Permission scheme --> Manage user and added all the users

2) Created new project role and assigned all the permission 

3) Assigned the permission on any user log in also did not work for me.

Note: I am using different templates for different project.

The one which i am able to add the watcher is made out of Agile template and other one is made out of Scrum template.

Not sure if this is the reason.

Do you get any sort of error, or do they just not show up as an option to add?

You need to also make sure that they have Browse Project in the Permission Scheme

 thank you for your reply i have added all the groups and users in the Browse Projects.

but still not able to add the user
