Backbone Issue Sync plugin licensing

Hi,

I want to link 2 jira instances with Backbone Issue Sync plugin. One instance is Jira software 2000 users on server and the other is Jira service desk 50 agents on server.

Do I have to install this plugin on both instances? How does the licensing work please?

This is official support from the plugin developer.

Regarding licensing, as a rule, such plugins must be bought for both instances. Highest Tier Licensing at Each Instance. For you Example it is one license for 2000 users, and second license for 50 users
