Can the add-on 'Issue Templates for Jira' be restricted at user/Group level during a trial?

I am looking at installing this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.intenso.jira.issue-templates/cloud/pricing

I wondered if anybody has installed it, how did you test this? Does it work as it says it should?

If I create a test project to create the issue template under, and then restrict the project to only certain users, will this be the best and only way to apply restriction on this template plugin being visible to all JIRA users?

It depends slighlty whether you have Cloud or Server hosted JIRA.

Cloud:

A button 'Create from Template' will only be available for users that have access to Template Repository project. In add-on setting you will be also able to restrict this feature for certain groups.

Server:

For every Template you can choose its avaibilty - groups and users that will be able to use it.
