Hi Antonella,
Is there anything we can do to improve the performance of the plugin? If people press approve to have the screen refreshed more fast. This is because within change advisory board meetings we approve on the fly and now we have to wait 2/3 seconds before the screen is refreshed.
Maybe this is just the performance of the plugin or can it have a dependency with the general performance of Jira?
Thank you,
Stefan
Hi,

Hi Stefan,
Could you please measure the time to load an issue in your JIRA instance?
Consider that following an approval action, the add-on must persist this information, perform different checks and refresh the issue.
We have measured an extra-time not exceeding the 35% of the time to load an issue.
If you confirm to measure a similar result, we cannot consider it performance issue of the add-on.
I also suggest reviewing https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver072/jira-performance-metrics-839981964.html page reporting the expected View issue page load time.
It is not really far from the performance that you are experiencing.
Sincerely,
Antonella
