Microsoft Teams personal notification

We are using the MS Teams fo Jira app and a few weeks ago I receive a popup on Jira to activate notifications on Teams, but after I clicked nothing happens.

My question here is: there is any way to receive personal notifications (like the ones that we receive by mail) on Teams?
