Can I publish a Confluence blog post to a Slack Channel (instead of just triggering a notification)?

Just starting to use the Slack integration (for Confluence cloud) and would love users to be able to see a blog post directly in a Slack channel instead of just being notified that a blog post has been created. I'd like to publish the post itself in the Slack channel. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, it's not currently feasible to publish a post itself in the Slack channel but it's something we can look at putting on the roadmap. Thanks for letting us know that is something that would be useful to you and we'll pass this on to the product team.

As a community tool, this would be absolutely vital.

At present, I am trying to build an integrated Intranet with Slack. To give anything any structure at present is impossible. I find bugs that are two years old and what I'd consider to be 'standard' integrations to be thought about for potential integration. 

The term 'it's something we can look at putting on the roadmap' is quite weak.

Confluence really is the poor cousin to your tooling - still.

As an out of the box product, it isn't fit for anything other than a complete mess - and at this price point, I am recommending to my organisation that we move away from Atlassian products, as you continue to be the jack of all trades and the master of none.
