We currently have Jira and Bitbucket integrated so that we can (for example) create a new branch in Bitbucket directly from a Jira issue, or see all Bitbucket commits related to the Jira issue.
We have one team who will be using GitHub instead, and they have requested the "GitHub for Jira" add-on.
If we add this and get it working, will this disrupt our existing Bitbucket integration?
Will Jira show options for both source control solutions? Does anyone know what the UI will look like?
Thank you!
We went ahead and set this up to try it out, so I can answer my own question here in case anyone else is curious. It works really well, at least for us.
When creating a new branch from a Jira issue, you simply pick which service you want.
When looking at existing branches from the Jira issue, you simply pick which service you want.
The behavior is similar for other things like commits and pull requests.
