zAgile: possible to require Reporter field, auto-filled by current Salesforce user logged in?

We are running into the issue of Salesforce users not filling in the Reporter field, then the integration defaults to a system user.  We rely on any changes on the Jira issue to be communicated back via the Reporter field.   When it is a system user, the communications are lost.

Is it possible to require the Reporter field on the Salesforce side?

Can it be auto-filled to be the current Salesforce user logged in?
