I have an organization that I would like to access our Jira Service Desk but they have their own on prem jira and we can't claim their domain.
We are in the cloud and have Atlassian access. They SSO into their own jira. How can I link them to our account to use SSO into our JSD? We use Azure AD.
Do we need to invite them into our Azure AD B2B? What are my options here?
I see that when I access external Atlassian sites that I am authenticating with my Azure AD/Atlassian SSO credentials. Is there a Knowledge Article that explains this authentication process that I can share with my security team? Thanks.
Claiming a domain is a pre requisite to implement SAML SSO with Atlassian. You can however invite these users to your Azure AD so they will have a Microsoft account and then they can use the "Continue with Microsoft" to login via oauth.
