Why is taking 72 hrs to verify a DNS?

I have been trying to verify our DNS domain (that takes 72 hrs). Received the "unverified" status but the confirmation still takes 72hrs. After the end of the 72hrs the account could still not verified. 

A loop like status!

I would suggest that you contact Atlassian's support directly at https://atlassian.support.com/contact/

They'll be able to help you and see if there is any service outage from their side (although status seem to be ok in all their products)
